The Coast Trail access near the southern edge of Mile 110 is overgrown, and the trail is nearly inaccessible, and probably will be next year due to vegetation, gorse encroachment, and natural erosion.

The Coast Trail access near the southern edge of Mile 110 is overgrown, and the trail is nearly inaccessible, and probably will be next year due to vegetation, gorse encroachment, and natural erosion. I don't know who has maintained the trail in the past, but it's in major need of maintenance. The overlook at the top of the bluff is quickly being overgrown with gorse, too.

Apparent violations: A man was using an industrial chain saw on the beach a 7 Devils Wayside to cut a three inch slice out of a driftwood burl (presumably Myrtlewood). approx 2 1/2 feet in diameter..
Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs
