Report Details
A not too lively elephant seal was beached above the high-tide line below the multi-level motel structure along Beach Loop Dr. It did not appear to be injured and was well fed, according to the marine mammal person I consulted by phone. He also posted a warning sign near the creature. I will continue to monitor the seal on my morning walks.
