Just a quickie to report on what may, and I stress may, possibly be tsunami wreckage on this mile which I walk most days, though it's not in my brief.

Just a quickie to report on what may, and I stress may, possibly be tsunami wreckage on this mile which I walk most days, though it's not in my brief. So, it is a large and heavy plastic grid of bright blue and has oriental characters on it, as well as now-smelly marine growths. It came in on the high tide during the night of 6/28, and I first saw it later in the morning. It remains in the high line just a few yards north of the Coquille Point stairs. If it still is there tomorrow, I'll have my camera and snap it.
