Overcast, wind at 11 mph. Beach very clean. Driftwood high on the beach. Some sand erosion noted at the Coquille Point stairs. Sea lion reported earlier is now primarily a skeleton from the upper trunk to the tail and has moved about 15 feet from where it was first observed. Three people were out walking, no dogs. Common Murres and Gulls are gathering on the outer rocks. Several gulls were at the shoreline.

Some erosion of sand around the base of the Coquille Point stairs, perhaps 1.5-2 feet. More exposed rocks in that area.
