Sunny but windy day, and the wind was quite cold.

Sunny but windy day, and the wind was quite cold. The beach had been swept clean of almost everything: sticks, kelp, etc. There were a few small stones along the high tide line. Only 11 people and 3 dogs present. A very few birds, including gulls; however, there were a number of Common Murre on Face Rock, and a single Mallard duck flew over. A dead, desiccated sea lion by the stairs up to the parking lot at the north end of Mile 100.

Smoke clouded the skies today, but by the time I did my beach clean-up, the wind had changed direction and the temperature had cooled to 62 degrees.
