State of the Coast Conference—Second Day
The annual State of the Coast Conference takes place online again this year, Oct. 28-29. The event, sponsored by Oregon Sea Grant, is free, but registration is required. To register, go here.
The conference features an array of short talks, providing updates on coastal issues and concerns, along with breakout session that dig deeper into topics, student presentations, and an art display.

Talks and breakout sessions on the second and final day, which runs until 3:30 p.m., cover such subjects as wave research, intertidal education, coastal planning and marine pollution. The day concludes with art workshops. Here is the complete program.
