Rocky Shore Meeting
The state’s Ocean Policy Advisory Council (OPAC) has a special Rocky Shores Working Group, which is developing an updated set of policies for protecting Oregon’s tidepool and rocky intertidal areas. The group’s next public meeting takes place Wednesday, Jan. 16, 9 a.m. to noon, in the Department of Land Conservation and Development’s basement hearing room #150 (635 Capitol St. N.E.) in Salem.
It is also possible to follow the meeting remotely. For instructions on how to do this, and a draft agenda, see this page on the OPAC website.
The meeting primary goal is to review the draft policy document the working group has been developing. There will be a public comment period at 11:40 a.m.
