Plastic Pollution Action Day
Washed Ashore, a Bandon-based non-profit that creates works of art from marine debris and displays them around the world, along with partners, is sponsoring “Swimming Upstream: Addressing Plastics Pollution through Action” on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2-5 p.m. at the Lincoln City Cultural Center (540 N.W. Hwy 101 in Lincoln City).
The family-friendly event will include information stations, a hands-on art project, and speakers each half-hour. Proof of vaccination is required.
The event takes place in conjunction with “Art to Save the Sea,” a Washed Ashore exhibit on display at the Cultural Center through March 13.
