The Oregon Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a hearing on regulations for drones in state parks and along the ocean shore at its Wednesday, April 13 meeting. The meeting begins at 9:45 a.m. and runs through 3:30 p.m.
The meeting can be attended in person, at the Oregon Garden Resort (895 W. Main St. in Silverton), which is located within The Oregon Garden. The meeting can also be followed remotely on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkqL6iVPBrfCTO27cNmCTwg
There is no set time for the drone hearing, but it comes late in the agenda, so it will presumably take place during the afternoon. There is also a general public comment period, slated for early in the meeting.
