The South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve will host a special screening of the critically acclaimed nature documentary "Blue Planet II: One Ocean," on January 26, from 1 p.m.- 2 p.m. at the South Slough Interpretive Center (four miles southeast of Charleston on Seven Devils Rd.). 

The film uses cutting-edge breakthroughs in science and technology to reveal amazing creatures and extraordinary animal behaviors. "Visually breath-taking, humbling, majestic television a the top of its game" according to USA Today. In the first episode, which is being shown at this event, new worlds and animal behaviors are uncovered on a journey from the equator to the poles. The South Slough reserve will provide the big screen, great sound system, and fresh free popcorn.
