Benefit Art Show
This is the final week of a special benefit art show, “The Coastal Watchers,” running through June 23 at the Elizabeth Jones Art Center (515 N.W. 14th St.) in Portland. The gallery is open Wednesday-Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
The show features art depicting the West Coast shoreline, from Washington to California. And its beneficiaries are groups that work to protect that shoreline, notably Oregon Shores. Other beneficiaries include SOLVE, Surfrider, and Oceans Conservancy.
No cost to view the show, although of course the paintings are for sale.
