DISPATCH FOR
MILE 176
on 4/20/12 - TEELEO
LOCATION
Lane •
North end Baker Beach, Lily Lake
CONDITIONS
Friday 4:00 PM
SUMMARY
Heceta Beach North of Baker Beach at the rocks below Southview Gated Community there was another landslide. I have seen many slides there but this one was so big the mud line was 18 feet high on the rocks at beach. I mean days after the slide and the ocean had removed most of the dirt. You could still see the mud plastered against a rock sticking up out of the sand 18 feet high. the rock is probably 28 feet tall. It is possible Hwy 101 could be compromised. Its worth looking at.
