Annual Members’ Meeting Will Precede Coast Conference
Andreas von Foerster Architect and new Oregon Shores board member Andreas von Foerster
Before we hear from our stellar line-up of Coast Conference speakers on Saturday, May 8, Oregon Shores’ members have a few moments’ worth of formal business to take care of. If you’re a member, your help is needed—please plan to come a bit early that morning.
At 9:15 a.m., we will conduct a brief, official annual meeting, prior to the conference’s start at 9:30. There are only two items of business—acceptance of the financial report, and election of board members.
We have two new candidates for the board, both already serving temporarily through board appointment. (More may come forward by the time of the meeting.) They are Andreas von Foerster, of both Neskowin and Salem, an architect with extensive experience in land use advocacy, and Jill Josselyn, a Portland-area resident with both marine biology and business in her background.
Also up for re-election are current board members Allison Asbjornsen (our current president), Bill Kabeiseman and Cathern Tufts (our current secretary).
Set the alarm clock a bit early, and help us conduct this official business. The annual meeting is in the same spot as the conference, the Hales Center for the Performing Arts on the Southwestern Oregon Community College campus.
