Who We Are, and How to Contact Us

Executive Director
Phillip Johnson, Executive Director EMAIL  — 503-754-9303

Land Use Program and Coastal Law Project (CLP)
We address specific land use issues, and also look beyond case-by-case battles through a long-range vision. CLP has enabled Oregon Shores and local citizens to participate in numerous important matters involving poorly planned projects that threatened the coast.
c/o Phillip Johnson EMAIL  — 503-754-9303

Ocean Program
Our Ocean Program plays a key role in working to establish marine reserves in Oregon and provide information about the links between land use, other onshore activities and the health of the ocean.
Robin Hartmann, Ocean Program Director EMAIL  — 541-817-2275

Climate Program
Our goal is to develop citizen-based, broadly supported adaptive plans for climate change and community resilience throughout the coastal region.
Phillip Johnson EMAIL  — 503-754-9303

CoastWatch
Nearly 1,300 volunteers keep watch over mile-long segments of Oregon's shoreline, the only such program in the nation. CoastWatchers monitor for and report a wide range of natural changes and human impacts.
