Low tide and clean beach. More visitors heading south than north from wayside. Considerable cliff erosion, but since this is my first report from mile 211 I will become more aware of any changes as I frequently walk the beach.

Spoke with a walker who is familiar with this beach over many years. She noticed more slides this spring than in previous years. She also said more sand covering up what would have been good agate areas.

My usual beach access trail at LawrenSea Oceanside Motel is now blocked by fence & locked gate. I used alternate beach access trail located about 1/4 mile south of Motel. Beach was very clean (last Sat was SOLV beach cleanup day). The beach was flat and sandy with no cobble or basalt or rooted cypress tree trunks visible as in past reports. Quite a bit of bluff erosion was noted, but this is normal for this beach mile.

Most people and cars at/on my mile seen in 14 years! All were "rock hunting". Much sand lost this winter(est. 2-5 ft.) Many Cypress tree roots exposed, as well as sections of wave-cut basalt & cobble. Beach was very clean. I picked up 1 half full "SOLV" bag left by someone else. Some new bluff erosion noted. Fantastic day to walk on beach! Sunny, with very slight NW cool breeze.
